Jason A. Jeffrey and Jehiel Jeffrey
Jehiel Jeffrey attended Central College during the 1854-1855 academic year. Jason A. Jeffrey was a student for much longer, from 1852 to 1856. Both their families played important roles in abolitionism and in the African American community of western New York. This exhibit tells the life stories of the Jeffrey cousins, but also of their families.
